Cavendish School Wins £500 "Initial Interest" Prize Draw.

Gareth Mottram was delighted to present EdufundUK's first ever award to The Cavendish School, in Hemel Hempstead.  Headmaster, David Fisher and Business Manager, Sarah Markley gave Gareth a very warm welcome and an interesting insight into the school.  They had wasted no time in allocating the £500 prize draw award – the funds will go directly into enhancing their thriving D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) scheme, including a new monitoring system to further improve its effectiveness.

The Cavendish School was entered into the prize draw for responding to a short, on-line initial interest survey sent to Hertfordshire state-funded secondary schools.  After EdufundUK officially launches in Spring 2018, our main activity will be to administer major (£10,000) and minor (up to £1000) awards for school-designed activities/training/equipment in our key areas of STEM, PE and Learning Creatively.  Watch your in-boxes for application details!

Thank you to all schools who completed the survey – your responses have helped us fine-tune our literature and update our mailing list to include each school's preferred contact(s).
